18 Young People "Killed Flesh" at VOC Harvest.

Hey guys, started promptly at the time it was schedule to....Victory Outreach Church came alive at Sangsters Hill at its annual event called "Harvest" , I applaud the pastors and the members of the Church for the vision....to carry on such a task, cause its actually harvest in the village, (the cultural festivity).
Pastor Ayotunde Akindele & Mrs.Shelly-Ann Baptiste

Now bringing a different twist to ministry to captivate the masses (people who will be going from  house to house), I must say the method or the formula has proven to be successful.

Pastor Christopher Ali (Global Revival Ministry

Invited guest speaker Pastor Christopher Ali from Global Revival Ministries gave the exaltation, he spoke about Jesus is coming soon and he shared a dream where the words "Last chance the ship is leaving board now" were prominent, after which 18 eighteen individuals gave their lives to Christ.

The music Ministry was done by some of Tobago's finest singers and musicians, known as the "Tobago Brand" as well as a single Trinidadian minister.....they all represented and present the true sense of what I will call "sound ministry".
The ministers were: The V.O.C Minstrels,

Jay Anne Baptiste

 Darius Rogers,

Khadija O'Connor,

Forward D Band,

Femi Guitar and

Joshua Ali (Trinidad).

The DJ, emcee as well as photographer for the night was done by Tobago Brand Promotions. And when you talk about "Harvest" it come complete with a lot of food and people enjoying themselves. In Acts 2:42-47-New International Version (NIV)

The Fellowship of the Believers

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved".

The night ended with a joyous praise song lead by Minister Tricia Sobers after which Bishop Ayotunde Akindele extend gratitude to all.

On this same night the thanks giving aspect was to both highlight the induction of the ministers as well as to celebrate with Pastor Terance Baynes 52yrs young....., feeling good and in high spirit, Pastor Baynes took to the stage to congratulate the ministers as well as his express his gratitude in songs. Nine churches battled the rainy weather to show support to NHCF on this auspicious occasion.

Tobago Gospel Fest 2014...success or failure?

Hey guys welcome to my blog....I will be highlighting what goes on in around events...must say thank you to Mr Cordel McClure of Tobago Inspirational Network (TIN137) for giving me the opportunity #dreamcamethrough....I must let u all know as well about the live program called Str8nNarrw, where we're going to show  the vibes and energy of gospel events in Tobago and Trinidad. Tagline: Its not an event...its everyday living. Matthew 7:14.

Now into my aftermath of what I will say is a disrespect to Tobago.....our culture of doing things are changing, slowly but surely  I must say, when it comes to gospel shows...we are going after giving patrons quality events..I said we because I am a gospel promoter myself.......now it seems to me that some promoters are very much not taking notes as well as not trying to lift the standard.
Tobago Gospel fest at Signal Hill dated Saturday 1st November 2014, in my opinion was one of the most poorly attended event, as well as when it comes to quality....poor, I am not bashing any one, I am calling it as I saw it.....now how can u have an mc whose duty is to introduce the artiste and make announcements...have no information as to what directives to take to do whatever (Confuse)......food for thought, do you know that your venue pays a key part in hosting an event? Therefore you have to know that your venue qualifies for hosting everyone from sound, to lights to the patrons etc....if I am wrong please state......also if u are the promoter of an event that does not give you the right to disrespect patrons, members of government as well as the international acts you have invited. Now guys keep viewing TIN137 on cable to see the reruns of Tobago Gospel Fest .
Now my most disturbing experience of this event is, one of the international acts came late to the event after an allege minor discourse between the promoter and the "driver" who was responsible for picking up the artists..... fail to fulfill  his reponsibilities.....again wow :/ ....and the highlight of the night for me .....the international act who came "late"
.. the Mc did not had no prior directive as to what he should do.....the promoter ran up on the stage and took away the mic from the mc...(highpitch tone).....(ohh good doooo)..prior to that they were shouting from the side telling him what to do....patrons were disgusted by the promoter's behaviour..which causes me to exit rapidly out of there..I did a couple interviews with the contestants who took part in the Tobago Gospel Show case...as well as with US International record artist Ms Naomi Striemer.....I really wanted to pursue getting an interview with Dr Ron Kenoly, where I must add, was told by the promoter to only do two songs.....wow :/.....could not be done because of what I had experienced....We str8nNarrw team did not get any prior information about the event therefore we tried our best to make it work...leave your comments....follow us on twitter@Str8nNarrw & @tobagobrand instagram@tobagobrandpromo hash tags #TIN137 #itseverydayliving.
